MAKER: KATHY JOHNSON

TAKER:

THE MAKING: Kathy chose to paint
on tiny canvases, finding images from
photos she took herself or abstracts
of her own composition. She used acrylics even though she is much better at using oil paints. Oils blend better but acrylic dries fast. As she painted them, she liked to imagine the child who might receive it and how children see the world with such wonder and amazement.
